Plenty of detail is provided in Stephen's town that includes many traditional European shops as well as pedestrians and period vehicles.  A small spur station appears in the foreground of this picture.

The industrial portion of the layout appears in the background in this shot, with a water storage tank on the inside curve of one of the main loops on the layout.

Steve makes use of many tunnels, viaducts and bridges to lend interest as trains appear and disappear at many different levels.

A "langer heinrich" (long Henry) heavy freight double-header passes the main control station on the layout.  Steve uses a Märklin 6021 digital controller and several Keyboads to control both the trains and the routing on his layout.
